ALSS Senator

The Senator represents law students at the University’s highest governing body, the UBC Senate, which votes on issues of admissions, curriculum, budget, library services, and other important affairs at monthly during the winter and spring semesters.  The role entails representation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the Student Senate Caucus, meeting with other faculty representatives to discuss issues affecting students and to present a united student position on contentious issues. The Senator also sits on the two student appeals committees that render decisions on issues of academic misconduct and academic standing.
